healerRemember those days,healer by DRAGONZZZZ4lyf
when we were young
and played around all day long.
Not one bit worried what would come.
But later it came to me,
the ghost of sorrow and grief.
The day you broke our bond.
This time it got me.
Surrendered and failed
my soul shattered forever.
I don't know how
I exist everyday.
Assume it is that,
by clinging to your fondest memory.
Nobody have I come to meet,
able to help me redeem
any past crime of mine
that the torture be to live without you.
Can it be that through hope and work
you may come back to me.
And raise the veil of darkness the ghost left
after its greatest theft, the theft of your soul.
Please oh please I beg of you
"I cannot live without you here."
If you hear me I ask of you
If you come my way
some or the other day,
Just smile for me your lovely smile
and then I will have lived my life.
before the stormI went mute at fifteen. It's not so bad, the first time around. I didn't mind. It doesn't hurt, or anything. It just kind of sticks, like you've swallowed bubblegum or something. It doesn't happen the way you'd think it would. You don't forget. There's no trauma. No violence. It's just like waking up in the morning. It sneaks up on you. And then you just can't anymore. I can't explain it. Some things, once you lose them, you don't find again.before the storm by MadameAnarchy
I started drawing these designs on my hand, after it happened, with black ballpoint pen. When you hear adults talk in hushed voices about those kids, that was me. You know what I'm talking about.
So teachers really hated me, as you might imagine. They thought I was being ridiculous. How was I supposed to tell them the truth? I could have written things down, I guess, but I didn't. Maybe I couldn't have. I don't know. I never tried. I didn't really mind not being able to speak. I didn't have anything to say.
The second time wasn't so great. It felt

LADY: A small, thin girl with a lot of thick, curly hair, seventeen, a figment of CHARLIE'S imagination. Wears vintage floral dresses, walks and acts a bit like a duck and loves ducks.
RORY BLAZE: CHARLIE'S friend, sixteen, thin and dark-haired with lots of piercings, more intelligent than he looks. Older brother of SILVER, mature and kind.
SILVER BLAZE: RORY'S younger brother, ten, small and pale. Wears a giant blue scarf at all times. Wise for his age.
MICKEY SMITH: CHARLIE'S younger brother, ten, goes to the same school as SILVER. Looks and acts like a miniature, more angsty CHARLIE.
LAURA SMITH: CHARLIE and MICKEY'S mum, forty-something and sick of life and its lemons.
